Keeping wedding guests entertained with Magician Gerard Kearney

Keeping wedding guests entertained with Magician Gerard Kearney

After you book your church/ceremony, hotel, and photographer, then it’s time to think about the entertainment for a wedding. Outside of the wedding band, there are other forms and times of wedding entertainment you should think about. I’m here to talk about what I know most about- Wedding magic.
Having performed at over one thousand weddings through my career (nicknamed “the wedding magician), I have narrowed the best times for wedding magic to two options.

Two great reasons for magic on your big day!

Drinks reception entertainment

On your wedding day, the drinks reception normally runs from 4-6pm. This is where guests often arrive not knowing each other and probably feeling a little awkward. This would be the ideal moment for Mix N’ Mingle Magic which will link groups, get people talking and provide the perfect ice-breaker for your special day. The perfect wedding reception idea.

After-Dinner Wedding Entertainment

This portion of the evening is after the meal and speeches and normally runs between 8-10pm while the band are getting ready to perform. At this time, a captive audience is still in their seats and close-up magic enables a seamless transition from dinner to dancing.

The best thing about magic as entertainment is that it is interactive, engaging, and most of your guests probably have never seen a close up magician in the flesh, making your wedding day UNIQUE AND UNFORGETTABLE!
